Lenovo S660 With 4.7 Inch Display, Quad-Core CPU Launched at Rs 13,999: Top 5 Challengers

In the past few months, Lenovo has made quite a few progressive moves that would eventually help the brand to maintain its position in both Indian as well as International markets.

That's why the company today introduced the S660 phone under its S series in the Indian market. The S660 is a premium phone having a quad-core processor under the hood. However, Lenovo is not asking you pay a premium to buy the S660. Priced at Rs. 13,999, the S660 will be made available across India via thedostore starting today.

Lenovo S660 Goes Official in India at Rs 13,999: Top 5 Challengers

The Lenovo S660 was originally announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), held in Barcelona at the end of February 2014. Now, finally the phone being made available in India at an affordable price tag.

Talking more about its spec and features, the Lenovo S660 features a 4.7-inch qHD display having a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek) coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

The handset runs on Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company's native UI layer on top of it. On the imaging front, there's an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and a single LED Flash. The phone also includes a VGA quality front-facing shooter. Another highlight of the Lenovo S660 is its massive 3,000mAh battery fitted inside. In terms of design, the device looks pretty decent- all thanks to a brushed metal design. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, aGPS, FM Radio, Dual SIM and more.

At Rs. 13,999, the Lenovo S660 handset has to face tough competition from the likes of Motorola Moto G, Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini A200, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, Lava Iris Pro 20, amongst others.
