Lenovo Vibe Z Vs Apple iPhone 5s: A Heated Fight At the Top of Charts

While the Apple-made iPhone 5s has been around in the market for some time, the Lenovo Vibe Z has just been announced only recently wih features that are both commendable and impressive - Like both of its mega-pixel rich cameras at the back and the front of the device.

On the other hand, while Apple may just have missed on the popularity that's currently generated in the domestic market via Android-based smartphones - probably due to their cheap price tags and more hardware under the hood - there's still no way by which a potential competitor can rule out any device made by the Cupertni-based tech giant.

However, being specific in this case, both Vibe Z and 5s offer a lot of promise of a future that's just around the corner. But how do they stack up against each other? Let's take a closer look

Operating System
As far as operating systems are concerned, the Apple-made iPhone 5s, as expected, runs on iOS 7 out of the box. And although the device can be later upgraded to iOS v7.0.4, according to the claims made by a host of previously released reports, Apple has already released the next iOS 7.0.5 for selected Chinese and European iPhone models.

And if that falls true in the long run for every device running on Apple's OS, it will only be sooner rather than later before the device gets the update internationally.

Camera
The Lenovo Vibe Z sports an impressive 13-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash, rendering 4128 x 3096 pixels. The device also has an equally impressive secondary 5-megapixel camera on board that's more than enough for conducting video chats and taking group selfies.

The iPhone 5S, in terms of camera, boasts a smaller 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and dual LED flash rendering 3264x2448 pixels . The secondary camera on the device is a 1.2-megapixel shooter.

Processing Power
In terms of power generated, both the devices are suitable contenders for the top position. While the Lenovo Vibe Z is equipped with a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, coupled with presence of Adreno 330, its Apple counterpart powers up the iPhone 5s via a 1.3 GHz dual core cyclone processor that's assisted via an Apple A7 chipset.

Conclusion
Considering the overall price factor and other features included in both the smartphones, it seems like the Vibe Z offers more than that of the iPhone 5s. And although Apple is a brand name that's instantly linked to the coolness quotient, the Lenovo Vibe Z could easily create problems for it in the long run.

And if Apple is to maintain its somewhat hold in the market, it has to think hard and think fast about its strategies related to future iPhones the company will be releasing to counter this threat of a device from Lenovo
