Martian Notifier Review: Performance and Functionality
The Martian Notifier comes supporting iOS and Android versions, but apart from the support, the one thing that the wearable specializes itself in is to provide notifications straight from your handset. The other smartwatches in its class may come with an assorted range of features, but none can really match to its ability to offer timely notifications.
The watch's Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity range seems pretty good as well and you can bet up to 30 feet for the wearable to be connected to your handset. There's the app available for the smartwatch that's primarily required to initially set up the watch.
Not only does the user have the option to select the kind of notifications he or she wants to receive on the watch, but you could also set treat yourself to world time, setting up alarms, weather information and more. You could even set the vibration pattern for each different kind of notification.
Once you get a notification on your Notifier via your smartphone, it will pop up on the tiny OLED strip for you to see it visually, apart from a buzz from the vibrating motor that has been fitted inside the watch.
If you are looking to keep up to date with all your notifications form Twitter, Facebook, and even simple texts messages, the Notifier is the one you should be looking ahead to. And the notifications are even discreet enough that won't really distract you in any way.
other functions include turning up the phone's voice service by pressing the top left button. You could also view the world clock or weather. There's even a camera mode that allows us to remotely snap a photo using the phone's camera. There's not much, but that's all you will need in the long run.
