Micromax Bolt A71 With 5-inch Display and Dual SIM Support Launched at Rs 6,750
Micromax has today, officially released its Bolt A71 smartphone in the Indian market. Customers can directly purchase the device from the company's official store at Rs. 6,750 or from Flipkart which was already selling the handset since January 17 at the same price.

The newbie Bolt A71 smartphone comes with a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a TFT FWVGA resolution of 480 x 854 Pixels.

It is powered by a 1 GHz single-core ARM Cortex A5 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

You will also find a 2-megapixel rear camera with a LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper for video conferencing and taking selfies.
There is a regular connectivity options in the Bolt A71 handset including, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. The device also supports dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby.
The smartphone has a very less internal storage capacity of 512 MB but it can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
The Micromax A71 which measures 10 mm thick draws it energy from a 2000 mAh battery which offers up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours standby time.
The company has been releasing a number of device in the Bolt series of lat. Recently, it also released Bolt A66, Bolt A28 and Bolt A59. Specs-wise, the smartphone appears to be very similar to the Canvas Viva A72 which was launched last year.
Micromax also has a number of upcoming smartphones that are yet to be announced in India. The company's latest hybrid tablet called the LapTab is also due for India launch. However, when it comes to competition, the latest Micromax Bolt A71 will contest with the A91 from rival manufacturer, Karbonn. Other than that there are ample number of devices from Intex, Lava, iBall and others, which fall in the same price range.
