Other than above mentioned Micromax promoted services, there are other apps by third party vendors. Here is the list: Spuul, Foneclay, amongst others.

Micromax also gave its own touch when it comes to music and video launcher. The music app looks similar to WP8 phone UI. Users can purchase music from Music Hub, a music store managed by Micromax. It's great to see the tech vendor took an initiative by offering something new. On the other hand, the video player launcher needs to be tweaked in respect to "Pause on Look away "feature. This special feature is not complicated, trust GizBot.

While watching a video, it tend to happen when we keep on doing something or other, and many a time we almost missed entire video clip. So this feature will automatically resume the running video; the camera detects when you are looking away from the device. It's a useful feature, when you are travelling. Another highlighted feature - "Pop Out" feature acts as a second window. For instance, you are watching a video at the same time you realize to shoot an e-mail. If you enable "pop out" feature, the video appears as a second window. One can even set an appropriate size of a video player accordingly.

"Pop Browser ", is another similar feature. A second window appears enabling you to browse web and at the same time one can concentrate on doing other stuff on Canvas 4.

The Canvas 4 supports four types of gesture feature: Upside silent, Upside speaker, Proximity answer phone and Proximity dial phone. Upside silent gesture control feature proved handy, when attending a seminar or regular meetings. You just need to turn the device by turning upside down. Another important gesture feature is Proximity dial phone.

Whenever you brought the phone near to your face, it automatically dials the contact no. In our testing, GizBot find that when you are using two SIMs, then a user have to press again on either of the chosen SIM. While Proximity answer phone feature works well.

You must have heard about Canvas 4 "Blow to Kiss" lock feature. You all need to blow on the display or shake the device to unlock it. It is not necessary to enable this feature. If you think it's not the way to unlock your phone, and then disable it. We tried "Blow to Kiss" unlocking system many a time; it works really well without any hiccups. If you enable this above mentioned feature, then one have to stick with one unlocking feature at a same time.
