Exquisite rumors surrounding the upcoming Mi 3 rival from Micromax has been making rounds in the Indian tech community quite heavily, but in the meantime, the best Indian smartphone brand has listed a new smartphone- the Canvas L A108 on its official website.

Micromax Canvas L A108: Key Specifications

The latest offering from Micromax comes with a large 5.5-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS.

Micromax Canvas L A108 uses an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for taking pictures and videos and houses 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options include: 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it is a Dual SIM (normal + micro) smartphone with dual standby mode. It is powered by a 2350 mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas L comes preloaded with a proprietary apps like M! Games, M! Skin, M! Insurance, M! Security, M! Live, MAd and Opera Mini. Moreover, buyers will also find a other pre-loaded apps like Book My Show, Clean Master, Getit and Hike. Other apps include: Kingsoft Office, Truecaller and Swiftkey.

The site doesn't reveal the pricing and availability of the smartphone, but since, as always Micromax has used the similar hardware which consist of MediaTek SoC and 1GB RAM, the Canvas L A108 might be sold in a mid-range price or to be precise, around Rs. 10,499.
