Micromax Unite 2 Started Receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop Update

Micromax has rolled out the Android Lollipop 5.0 update for Unite 2 A106 in the market. This update comes in a size of 412.94MB and available OTA.

Users will get notifications once the update has reached the device. Other wise you can manually check the device by going to Setting → About phone → Software update.

This update comes with a new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system.

It allows the users to see the notification on the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.

This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
