Google Moto X Launch Event Just A Few Hours Away: What All to Expect?
The long awaited Moto X is going to be unveiled soon in coming few hours in a an exclusive event in New York City, hence there is no official live streaming as such. Going by the IST, the event will begin at around 12.30AM (12PM PT / 3PM ET). It is surprising part from Google as this is one of the most important development taking place in the smartphone arena throughout the world.
Before heading towards a round up of Moto X, here is a brief sketch on the expected specs of the device;
Moto X will be powered by a dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro MSM8960DT processor clocked to 1.7GHz and would come with an Adreno 320 GPU and X8 chip. The smartphone will also be supported by 2GB RAM. The handset is said to come with a 4.7 inch display without on-screen buttons offering 720x1184 pixels resolution. According to the pictures, Moto X will come with a 10.5MP rear camera with flash and a 2.1MP front-facing camera.
Also confirmed by the FCC documents earlier last month, it will feature 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi. The handset is also said to run on Android 4.2.2. The smartphone would also come with a16GB internal memory, 12GB of which is user-accessible and NFC support.
Eventually, there is a 2,200 mAh non-removable battery confirmed by FCC docs. Moto X is further expected to come with the support of microSD card slot.
However, most of the specs mentioned above is based on the leaks and rumors and this is what the handset is basically come with in terms of specs.
Apart from the specs, Moto X is rich in features, it is fully operational voice enabled device. The device actually interacts with the users through the natural language processing (NLP) core that listens to you at all times with the ‘Open Mic' function. A better camera is also coming up with a 10-megapixel ‘Clear Pixel' shooter expected.

Moto X Listens and Responds
According to the promotional video, the Moto X comes with the smart listening and responding capability. It will actually tell you what you need to know even without touching the screen of Moto X. The voice control will be enabled by saying "Okay Google Now." The Moto X also includes a training mode that helps your phone Learn your voice. That way other people can't activate the search feature.
Moto X Utility Features
Moto X comes with a handful of features that is very helpful in day to day life. There is a feature Lost Phone Tracking which helps you track the handset without any fuss. As there will be a phone tracking feature in-built, the handset can be tracked down by using a Google account. Motorola Assist, is also going to be included on the Moto X. This is the replacement for Smart Actions announced with the DROIDs. Assist changes your settings according to what's going on and where you are. For example, if you're driving, it knows to put your handset into driving mode. Late at night? Silent mode. The app has a Google Now-style UI. It looks more like a core part of the OS. Motorola Migrate will ask if you want to migrate data from your old device. It can handle texts, call history, SIM contacts, media (presumable music, photos, and videos), and some system settings.
Moto X Design
It was recently said that the Moto X would feature a magic glass. The motive of the Magic glass is said to deal with the maintenance of the continuity of the texture of the device throughout. In other words, there would not be a layer of Gorilla Glass attached evenly to not only the screen but the entire handset making it a flawless uni-textured device. Even the gap between the glass to edge is said to be reduced to the minimal.
Moto X More Rumors
The moto X is said to come with a several customizable features as well. It is said that the launch event today will be a unraveling of a series of features. Moto X Others
The latest Motorola Moto X's design can be customize with different colors and laser engravings. The device is said through and through to be fairly priced at lesser than Nexus 4. It is said to come at less than $200 (approx. Rs.11,899), but now late rumors have appeared saying that it will be close to $300 (approx. Rs. 18,210). It features sensors that can tell where the user is. It can tell the user if he is in a a moving car or a standstill position. Lastly, the handset will make its debut in two color variants; Black and White.
