Motorola Moto G (2014) Full Review: Battery and Verdict
Motorola decided to go with what it already has. Hence the company decided on the same battery capacity as the original version, although the new phone has a larger screen. Both batteries are 2070mAh units.

We aren't really keen on the device's battery though. This is because it isn't something that will last you an entire day. Comparatively, the battery stamina is a bit on the downside and it does tend to get over pretty fast.

The handset also lacks the usual battery-saving mode that you get to see so often with most handsets. But that's only expected since it has an untouched version of Android 4.4.4 running inside.

The new Moto G is an upgrade over the prior one, and it shows. The handset, however, may be a tad shy from reaching its overall user target since most users won't be able to know all the subtle little changes that have been incorporated inside.

But we have to say that the 2014 edition of the handset is an impressive budget phone from Motorola. Of course, more screen space and a much better camera are worthwhile upgrades. And if you anyway decide to invest on the handset, let us tell you that you won't be dissatisfied.
