In late June, Microsoft unveiled the Windows Phone 8, the upcoming operating system. There are reports stating that the first handsets that are powered by the WP8 platform will be out sometime this year. Unfortunately, the current Windows Phone devices will not be updated to the WP 8.

As of now, there are no photos of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 handsets but there is little information on what might be coming soon. A screenshot taken by WPDang shows some handsets that will be released with the Windows Phone 8 operating system.

The report states that the Love Wallpapers HD's developer has released a tablet that contains the names of the alleged upcoming WP8 phones. These obtained from the WP device database. The number of the handsets is really impressive.

We have already heard about Nokia Fluid, Nokia Phi and Juggernaut Alpha. Now, we have Nokia P4301, Nokia Dogphone (?) and Samsung SGH – I687.

These names might be the internal codenames and they might vary have different names. Apart from the names, we don't have any other information regarding their specifications and features.

The report guesses that Nokia P4301 could be a PureView based handset. This indicates that we can soon see a PureView based Lumia handset soon. Hopefully, this is a great news for the Lumia fans who are awaiting extraordinary camera optics.
