Both 16 GB and 32 GB Variants of Nexus 5 to Come Powered by 2300 mAh Battery

By Vivek

LG Nexus 5 has been leaked several times in the past and it is still continues to hit the headlines frequently. Now, the handset powered by Google's software, has once again been leaked. The alleged images were first posted by a tech site FanaticFone. However, the leaked images this time are not of the handset but the battery which would power the Nexus 5.

If this recent leaked images are to be believed, it would nullify the previous rumors that said the handset would come with two different batteries depending on the model, meaning the 16GB would be powered by 2300 mAh battery and the 32 GB would be powered by 3000 mAh cell.

But the recent images that was posted by FanaticFone show only the 2300 mAh battery capacity. And the sources close to PhoneArena seems to have confirmed saying that both the 16 GB and 32 GB variant of the handset would come powered by the same 2300 mAh battery.

Apart from the battery, the Nexus 5 is rumored to come with 4.95-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, 2.3 GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 8 Megapixel camera, LTE and Qi wireless charging. Not only that, but the Nexus 5 is also expected to launch alongside Android 4.4 KitKat, Google's new version of Android OS.

According to the pricing of the device that came up accidentally on Google's own play store, the device should hit the market at $349 (approx. Rs. 21,400) excluding any fees or taxes and fully unlocked.
