Alleged Huawei P20, P20 Plus, and P20 Pro designs leaked, all three feature triple rear cameras
Huawei is likely to unveil the P20 series at the MWC 2018, which would take place between February 26 to March 1.
Huawei has launched the P8, P9 an P10 series of smartphones in the last three year. So the company is expected to introduce the P11 lineup this year.
However, a new leak originating from Huawei's home country China, suggests otherwise. According to the leak, the next generation of P-series of smartphones will called P20. The leak has further revealed the alleged design of the upcoming Huawei P20 smartphones, namely the regular P20, P20 Plus and the P20 Pro. Notably, all three handsets will come with triple rear cameras (though arranged differently).
From the look of it, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will sport kind of similar designs at the front. Both the smartphones have a physical home button which should also function as the fingerprint scanner. Despite housing a fingerprint scanner, the bottom bezel of the handsets are pretty narrow. The top bezel is also thin, and the side bezels are almost non-existent.
Coming to the rear panel, the triple cameras on the Huawei P20 are placed horizontally with a LED flash on the right. The P20 Plus, on the other hand, feature a vertically stacked camera system with a LED flash below. It is likely that the P20 and P20 Plus will differ in size.
Talking about the Huawei P20 Pro, the smartphone is shown to feature a higher screen-to-body ratio with a bezel-less display. Due to the lack of space at the bottom bezel, the fingerprint scanner is moved to the back. It is worth mentioning that the handset has an iPhone X-like notch at the top which houses the selfie camera and the earpiece.
At the back, the P20 Pro has vertically arranged triple camera setup. However, unlike the Huawei P20 Plus, the cameras are positioned at the top center.
Rumors have it, both P20 and P20 Plus will be powered by Huawei's flagship Kirin 970 processor. Whereas the P20 Pro is expected to feature the slightly more powerful Kirin 975 chipset. All three devices should carry 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage space.
Huawei is likely to unveil the P20 series at the MWC 2018, which would take place in Barcelona between February 26 to March 1.
