Alleged iPhone 17 Air Render Reveals Ultra-Thin Design and a Bold New Camera Bar
Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is already generating excitement, and a new leak is adding to the speculation. YouTube channel Front Page Tech has shared renders of what it claims is the iPhone 17 Air, showcasing a fresh design that could make this one of Apple's thinnest smartphones yet.
A Slimmer iPhone With a Bold Design Change
According to the leak, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to have an ultra-thin body, measuring just 5.5mm at its thinnest point. If this holds true, it would make it one of Apple's slimmest devices to date. But the real eye-catching change is on the back-Apple seems to be experimenting with a camera bar that stretches across the top of the phone.
The renders, created by digital artist @zellzoi for Front Page Tech, depict a single rear camera on the left side of the bar, while the right side houses a microphone and LED flash. This is a significant shift from the current vertical camera arrangement Apple has been using, hinting that the company might be rethinking its approach to smartphone photography.
A Design Trend Across the iPhone 17 Lineup?
Interestingly, this new camera bar design may not be exclusive to the iPhone 17 Air. Last week, Front Page Tech also revealed alleged renders of the iPhone 17 Pro, showing a similar design direction. If both leaks are accurate, Apple could be preparing to introduce a unified look across the entire iPhone 17 series.
What's Next for the iPhone 17?
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup in September, which means more leaks and rumors will likely surface in the coming months.
Until Apple officially announces the iPhone 17 Air, it's best to take these leaks with a grain of salt-but if the rumors are true, Apple might be shaking things up with a thinner, sleeker design and a bold new camera layout.
