According to Apple analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Tech Research, all the Apple iPhone 15 series smartphones will sport higher price tags than the iPhone 14 series devices.

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, in particular, will be pricier than ever according to the report. In other words, the iPhone 15 Pro Max should sport a significantly higher price tag compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max prices could go beyond the current starting price of $1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The current flagship iOS smartphone is priced at ₹1,39,900 for the base variant in India.

The average price of an iPhone 15 series device would be $925, the report claims. This is $100 more than the current average price.

In addition to the price hike, Pu has mentioned a few more details including the manufacturing volume, price hike, and more, of the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series iOS smartphones.

Here's How Apple May Justify The Higher Price Of The iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series in September, which is the company's usual schedule. The production, assembly, and shipment of the iPhone devices are expected to commence mass production in August.

Previous rumors about the iPhone 15 series suggest that all four models, including the Pro Max variant, will feature a USB-C port, and a slightly more curved frame. The Dynamic Island feature should be retained.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max could be the most expensive iPhone from Apple due to a new periscope lens, which would be a significant improvement over the 3x zoom capability found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

This periscope lens embedded in the iPhone 15 Pro Max would enable users to experience 5x to 6x optical zoom, allowing for more versatile and high-quality photography.
