Apple Quietly Discontinues These Three iPhones After iPhone 16e Launch
Apple has quietly removed a few older iPhones from its online store following the launch of the iPhone 16e. The iPhone SE (2022), iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus are no longer available for direct purchase from Apple.
While the SE and 14 Plus seem to be completely discontinued, the standard iPhone 14 is still being sold through third-party retailers.

iPhone SE (2022) Bows Out
The iPhone SE has officially been retired, likely making the iPhone 16e its closest replacement. The SE was Apple's last compact iPhone with Touch ID, but it was starting to feel outdated in a lineup dominated by full-screen designs. The 16e, in contrast, brings a larger OLED display, a modern design, and a more powerful A18 chip. iPhone 14 Plus Discontinued Amid Weak Sales
Apple has also pulled the plug on the iPhone 14 Plus, a move that doesn't come as a big surprise. The Plus variant struggled to gain traction, with reports suggesting lower-than-expected demand. With newer models taking center stage, it made sense for Apple to stop selling the 14 Plus altogether.
iPhone 14 Still Available - But Not on Apple's Website
The standard iPhone 14 has also disappeared from Apple's store, but it's still available through authorized resellers. It remains a solid option for those who don't need the latest features but still want an iPhone at a more affordable price. In fact, we covered a deal on the iPhone 14 yesterday that brought its price down to the lowest we've seen yet. If you're looking for the best value on an iPhone, it's definitely worth checking out.
