A South Korean source, The Elec, suggests that the telephoto camera will remain exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro models. This aligns with current offerings where both iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max boast a 12MP tetraprism telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom capabilities.

Apple iPhone 17 Series: What We Know So Far

The upcoming iPhone 17 series might see Apple replacing the Plus variant with a new model called either "Air" or "Slim." The alleged iPhone 17 Air could set a new benchmark for Apple's smartphone design by measuring just 6mm thick.

However, a report recently claimed that the iPhone 17 Air may not be as slim as expected. Apple has reportedly failed in the attempts to increase battery capacity through thinner substrates with new materials and techniques. Another report suggested Apple could bring a new OLED technology to the iPhone 17 Slim.

Both the standard iPhone 17 and 17 Air are rumoured to come with the A19 chip, while the Pro models might ship with the A19 Pro variant.
