Gionee today has launched two variants of its budget smartphone named as the F103 which it had launched in September for a price of Rs. 9,999. The major difference between the Gionee F103 smartphone and the two new variants is the RAM size.
The previously launched F103 featured 2GB of RAM whereas the new variants of the handset have been launched with 1GB and 3GB of RAM. The Gionee F103 smartphone with 1GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 8,499, while the 3GB RAM variant of the phone costs Rs. 10,999.
All three Gionee F103 mainly differentiate on the basis of RAM, while the rest of the features and specs remain the same. It dons a sporting a metal frame with a glass back panel, and flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution, topped with Dragontrail glass for protection.
The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor, coupled with RAM size depending up on the variant. There is 16GB of internal storage space, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. All three versions of the Gionee F103 have 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB options. Under the hood, it runs on a 2400mAh battery. The smartphone is available in Pearl White, Dawn White and Black colour options.
The Gionee F103 with 4G compatibility and dual-SIM will be up against the likes of the CoolPad Note 3, Micromax Canvas 5, Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen).
