Google Launches Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P In India: Price, Specifications and More

Following the global launch, the search engine giant Google has unveiled the the much anticipated new generation Nexus smartphones, dubbed as m LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P in the Indian market.

Initially, this device was launched at an event in San Francisco few days back. Moreover, this is the first time that Google has partnered with the Chinese handset company Huawei for a Nexus smartphone.

LG Nexus 5X - Key Specifications

In terms of features, the Nexus 5X has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset with 64-bit architecture, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone supports a 12MP rear camera with 1.55 micro pixels, 5MP front camera.

On the storage front, the Nexus 5X comes with 16GB/32GB of built in memory, with no expansion option in it.

The phone houses a USB Type-C connectivity option, a fingerprint scanner and shipped with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the connectivity, this device support 4G/NFC/Bluetooth 4.2. The above hardware is powered by a 2700mAh batter on board.

The LG Nexus 5X comes at a price of Rs. 31,999 for 16GB, while the 32GB version carries a price tag of Rs. 35,900.

Huawei Nexus 6P - Key Specifications

The phone features a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and sports ultra-slim bezels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset with Adreno 430 GPU, clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood.

This high-end device is comes in 32GB/64GB/128GB internal memory variant, with no options expand.

It features a 12.3MP rear camera with Sony sensor, 4K video recording, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Google says that the camera on the device has a significantly larger pixels than the last year's Nexus 6 smartphone, allowing better low-light photography.

Furthermore, it has a USB Type-C port, and a fingerprint sensor, which as per Google claims is amongst the fastest when compared to others in the market.

On the connectivity, this device supports 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 MIMO dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC. It is powered by a 3450mAh battery.

The Huawei Nexus 6P come in Aluminum, Graphite color variant at a price of Rs. 39,999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 42,999 for 64GB version. The phone will be available online as well as offline, via over 3000plus stores including like Flipkart, Sangeetha, Reliance Digital, Croma and others.
