Google Nexus 5X: Specs, Display And Release Date [Latest Rumors]
Rumors of upcoming Google Nexus smartphones are abound online and have seen many leaks and concept images so far. With the launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it has been reportedly confirmed that the Nexus will be in coming months.

Google has already sent out invites for its September 29 event in San Francisco and is highly expected to unveil the next-gen Nexus smartphones dubbed as Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

Release Date
Google has sent out invites and it is been confirmed that the company will hold a press event on September 29. It is highly expected that Google will announce the LG Nexus 5X running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow at the event.
Display
It looks like the LG Nexus 5X will be the smaller and will features less powerful hardware among . It is rumored that, the LG Nexus will sport a 5.2 inch Full-HD P-OLED display, which is slightly larger than that of the existing Nexus 5.
Hardware
The Nexus 5X is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor and will be paired with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. The smartphone will be packed with 3180mAh battery and will features internal storage up to 64GB. But according to AndroidPit, the Nexus 5X will run the Snapdragon 808 chipset with 3GB of RAM and will be backed with 2700mAh battery.
Latest Leaks
Amazon India has already listed the LG Nexus 5X 16GB variant as currently available ahead of launch. According to Amazon India listing, the LG Nexus 5X will sport a 5.2 inch Full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels at 423ppi pixel density.
The smartphone runs on 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory and there is no microSD card slot to expand memory. The Amazon also lists that the smartphone will features a 12.3 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera and 2700mAh battery.
USB Type-C
Back in June, at the Google I/O keynote, the company announced that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will have built-in support for USB Type-C and shows a mystery device, which can be considered as the first look at the new Nexus 5X.
