Google Offering Cashback To Pixel 4 Users Before Price Cut
Google launched its 2019 flagship smartphones - the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL back in October, a month after Apple launched its iPhone 11 series. The company launched the Pixel 4 with a price tag of $799 and the Pixel 4XL for $899. Both the smartphones were launched with crazy prices and were expensive than the iPhone 11. However, Google flagships witnessed a price cut by the end of November of $200.
Within a month, the company dropped the price of the Pixel 4 after which the company faced a lot of criticism by fans and tech experts. It was unfair for those fans who believed in the brand by purchasing the device on launch day at full price. After facing all the criticism, Google seems to give some refunds to the fans that have already purchased the phone.
According to Brandon Lee, tech YouTuber posted a tweet which states that some of his contacts have asked Google for a refund for the smartphone what they have purchased. In return, the company has also refunded $100 to make them happy about the discount. The report suggests that the customers who received refund were the part of the pre-order squad. So if you're an early adopter of the Google Pixel 4 smartphone then contact the company and ask for the refund.
"I heard from TWO people already that they contacted Google about getting $100 back since they pre-ordered the phone and the price already dropped!
If you pre-ordered the Pixel 4/4 XL from Google contact them! Good on you, Google!
...But price it right from the start next time," reads Lee post on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 4 line is yet to launch for the Indian consumers and there is no information whether the company is planning to launch it in India or not. However, in the latest report, it has been reported that Google is planning to launch Pixel 4a instead of the original Pixel 4.
