Google Pixel 7a Key Specifications Leaked
The Google Pixel 7a is expected to be unveiled during the Google I/O 2023 conference in May. Ahead of the launch, the specifications of the mid-range smartphone have been leaked. The leak comes from a Twitter user, revealing key details of the display, camera, software, processor, and charging speeds.
Previously, the Google Pixel 7a's design was also leaked through press renders. Adding the pieces, almost everything about the upcoming smartphone is now known ahead of its launch.

Google Pixel 7a to Feature Tensor G2 Chip
According to Twitter user Debayan Roy, the Google Pixel 7a will not be too far away from the flagship Pixel 7 series. For one, the Pixel 7a is expected to come with a 6.1-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The renders previously had revealed this will be a punch-hole display with the center cutout for the selfie camera.
The leakster claims the Pixel 7a will be powered by the same Google Tensor G2 chip that powers the flagship Pixel 7 series. The chipset is jointly manufactured by Google and Samsung. Google is also expected to rely on faster LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage modules. By the looks of it, the Pixel 7a will be no less than a value flagship.
The Pixel 7a is tipped to feature a dual camera setup at the back, with a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The front camera details are presently unknown. The Pixel series is known for the computational photography features, and the Pixel 7a seems to be no slouch. It is expected to get a similar set of camera features as its more expensive siblings.
The smartphone will run on Android 13 out of the box with exclusive AI-assisted features. The smartphone will also include 5W wireless charging.
As for the design, it is likely to remain similar save for a few changes here and there. For one, the visor on the rear panel now resembles the Pixel 7 series.
