Google Pixel 8a Specifications, Price Range Detailed in Latest Leak

The Pixel 8a is set to make its debut in India and globally on May 10 at the Google I/O event. As of now, details about the upcoming Pixel 8a are still under wraps, although the rumor mill surrounding the phone has been buzzing.

The latest information that comes courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the upcoming Pixel 8a will feature a larger battery and support faster charging than its predecessor. Brar also revealed other specifications of the upcoming Pixel 8a.

Google Pixel 8a Specifications (Expected)

According to the tipster, the Pixel 8a will feature the same camera setup as the Pixel 7a, opting for a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS on the back paired with a 13 MP ultrawide lens. Up front, the Pixel 8a is equipped with the same 13 MP selfie camera as its predecessor.

Like its flagship counterparts, the Pixel 8a will be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset. Moreover, it will sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support. The Google Pixel 8a is expected to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging support, although no adapter will be included in my box.

The Pixel 8a will run the stock version of Android 14 out of the box, although we're unsure if Google will offer the same upgrades as the Pixel 8 series. The Google Pixel 8a will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The tipster also claims that the Pixel 8a price in the US will fall between $500 to $550. We expect the Pixel 8a price in India to start from under Rs 50,000. To recall, the Pixel 7a price in India started from Rs 43,999 at the time of its launch.
