Google Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro Fold Designs Teased Officially; Pixel 9 Pro Fold Coming to India on August 14

Google is gearing up to launch the Pixel 9 series smartphones earlier than expected, which will take place on August 13. The brand already has started teasing the next-gen Pixel series phones which will include the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Now, the brand has shared the videos for the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, confirming the camera designs of the phones and integration of AI features. Here's everything we know about the upcoming Pixel series smartphones.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold India Launch Confirmed for August 14

Google India took to its official X (former Twitter) handle to confirm the arrival of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in India, which will come as the first foldable device from the brand in the country. The launch will take place on August 14, a day after the 'Made by Google' launch event.

Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold Camera Designs and AI Features

As seen in the official teaser, the Google Pixel 9 Pro has a small camera deco with triple rear cameras, flash and laser autofocus. The Pixel 9 Pro is likely to feature the 50MP triple camera setup on the rear panel, the same is expected to be available on the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

On the other hand, the teaser video shows the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with dual-pill-shaped camera cutouts, placed into a rectangular module. While the teaser doesn't reveal the camera on the inner screen, it is expected to get a punch-hole camera on the left side of the screen.

As far as the launch is concerned, the Pixel 9 series smartphones will be unveiled at the 'Made by Google' launch event on August 13, 2024, at 10 am PT (10:30 PM IST), which can be watched via the official YouTube channel and Google Store website.
