Google Pixel 9a Hands-on Video Leaked Online Ahead of Official Launch
Google is gearing up to introduce the Pixel 9a, a new addition to its 9 series. Recently, Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared images of the phone in four colours. Marketing images have also leaked, highlighting the smartphone's AI features.
Now, just ahead of its expected launch next week, a hands-on video of the Pixel 9a has appeared online. This video provides a closer look at the device.

The YouTube channel Alexis Garza shared a video during a Lucha Libre event, showcasing the Google Pixel 9a. The video highlights both the front and back of the phone in black, which could be named Obsidian. The Pixel 9a is also expected to be available in three more colour options -- Iris, Peony, and Porcelain.
In addition to its appearance, the video demonstrates the phone's video recording capabilities and includes image samples from both cameras. The video also confirms the Pixel 9a features a flat rear panel with dual cameras and an LED flash beside them. It also has a flat display with a centre punch-hole cutout.
Google Pixel 9a Features and Price We Know So Far
The Pixel 9a is expected to feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,700 nits of peak brightness. It could be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, the phone is likely to offer a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, it's expected to feature a 13MP lens for selfies. The device may also pack a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. As far as the price is concerned, the Pixel 9a is tipped to start at ₹52,999 for the base model, while the higher-end variant may exceed ₹62,000.
While the brand has yet to confirm the launch date for the Pixel 9a, reports suggest the handset will launch globally on March 19, with an India release set for March 20.
