Google Pixel 9a Renders and Marketing Images Surface Online Ahead of Expected March 19 Launch
The Pixel 9a is expected to launch globally on March 19, with an India release set for March 20. While there's no official word regarding its launch date and specifications. Leaks and rumours have given us enough of an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Pixel device.
Now, just ahead of the launch, tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared renders of the Pixel 9a, showing the handset in four colours. In addition, leaked marketing images have revealed the AI features of the smartphone. Let's dive into the details.

The renders of the Pixel 9a show the identical design as seen in previous leaks, featuring a flatter rear panel and a dual-camera setup.
The phone is also expected to launch in four new vibrant colours- Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain- which were also seen in the latest renders.
The phone was also spotted with several water droplets in one image, which confirms its IP rating. As we already know, the Pixel 9a is tipped to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the marketing images of the Pixel 9a reveal the phone will ship with several Pixel drop features.

In terms of features, the Pixel 9a is tipped to have a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,700 nits of peak brightness. It will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For imaging, the Pixel 9a may offer a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, it's tipped to feature a 13MP lens for selfies and videos. The device is also expected to pack a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging.
