Redmond giant, Microsoft has launched two new selfie-based feature phones, dubbed as Nokia 230 Dual SIM. Initially, this phone was introduced in November last year with 2MP camera on both sides.
Even though this phone went on sale through official Microsoft online store last month, it was launched officially in the Indian market today at a price of Rs. 3,949. Moving on to the specifications, this device comes with 2.8-inch QVGA LCD display, 2MP camera on both sides, Series 30+ OS and dual SIM.
This phone comes with 32GB of expandable storage via microSD card slot. On the connectivity option, it supports 2G, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing, Micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. The form factor of the device measures 10.9mm thickness and weighs around 91.8grams.
This device comes pre-installed with Opera Mini browser, Bing Search, and MSN Weather. Additionally, users can also download one free Gameloft game every month for a year, which also includes Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
This selfie-based feature phone is juiced with 1200mAh battery with up to 21h talk time and up to 22 days standby. Meanwhile, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM is available in silver, dark silver variants with a price tag of Rs. 3,949.
Commenting on the launch, Ravi Kunwar, Director- North, Microsoft Mobile Devices, said, "Amidst the burgeoning market for touch-enabled smartphones, there was a latent need in the market for a premium quality, non-touch feature phone with enhanced features."
