HMD Global to unveil Nokia 4 featuring Snapdragon 450 SoC at MWC 2018

While we have heard or have been hearing about these devices in the past few days it looks like there will be one more smartphone that Nokia will bring to the market. The company is said to bring Nokia 4 as well for the first time at the MWC 2018. The device has been leaked via VK.com (Nokia Power User).

Going by the report, it says that Nokia 4 will likely be the successor to the existing Nokia 3 handset which was indeed launched at the MWC 2017. However, apart from this, there are very few details about Nokia 4. Besides, speculations are high and some even suggest that the device will come with Snapdragon 450 chipset. And this could happen as Nokia 3 which came with a MediaTek processor received criticisms for its performance.

HMD Global seems to be planning to launch the Nokia 4 for some time now. Just last month a mysterious handset had appeared in an APK file teardown of a camera app. This further gave hints about the existence of Nokia 4. Quite interestingly, some reports flying around in the web have also stated that HMD Global could halt the production of Nokia 3. So considering all these information, we might see Nokia 4 being launched soon.

While exciting days are ahead, we have to wait a bit for Nokia to make the announcements officially. As such, the company has scheduled a press conference for February 25 in Barcelona. Everything will be announced at the launch event.

Meanwhile, details about a new Nokia feature phone with model number Nokia TA-1048 appeared yesterday and the device has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission in the US as well. Additionally, details about Nokia 8 Pro also surfaced online just this morning. All in all, Nokia seems to have several devices in its product portfolio for 2018.
