Nokia 8 Pro with Snapdragon 845 SoC reportedly in the making
Nokia 8 Pro might be none other than the Nokia 10 rumored to feature a penta-lens camera module at its rear.
As we are nearing the MWC 2018 tech show that is all set to debut on February 26, there are a lot of speculations related to the upcoming smartphones. HMD Global has already sent the media invites for a press conference that is all set to happen on February 25 at Barcelona and we expect the company to unveil a slew of devices at the event next week.

In the meantime, the existence of a few more models has also popped up online. Recently, we came across the Nokia 8 Sirocco moniker that is claimed to be none other than the Nokia 9. This device was also spotted in an official certification and APK teardown. Now, a report by NokiaPowerUser tips that a smartphone with the retail name Nokia 8 Pro is also in the making.
It is said to be one of the flagships to be launched by Nokia this year and is expected to hit the market sometime in August or September this year. It also said that the previously rumored Nokia 10 does not exist and that the Nokia 8 Pro is the one that was believed to be the Nokia 10 in the earlier claims.

Having said that, it is not difficult for us to guess that the Nokia 8 Pro will make use of the latest powerful Qualcomm chipset - the Snapdragon 845. The smartphone has the suffix Pro as it will arrive with a powerful and more advanced camera and many other innovations, claims the report. If this turns out to be true, then the Nokia 8 Pro will feature the highly-anticipated Penta-lens camera module along with a rotating zoom camera that has been developed by Zeiss.
From the leaked sketch, we can expect the Nokia 8 Pro to bestow a fingerprint sensor below the main camera at its rear. Also, the design of this smartphone is believed to be similar to that of the Nokia 9 that is speculated to feature 3D glass at its front and rear. The report citing its source reveals that the Nokia 8 Pro will arrive with a full-screen design and 18:9 aspect ratio display and leaves a hint of the double glass design as seen in the sketch.
