Nokia 10 concept video shows penta-lens camera and glass build

HMD Global will host an event on February 25 at the MWC 2018 show floor in Barcelona to unveil the Nokia 9 flagship smartphone. But that's not the only flagship that will come from the company's stable this year. Word is that HMD is reportedly prepping an ultimate flagship smartphone called Nokia 10 that might be launched with a penta-lens camera setup and that this device could be unveiled at the IFA 2018 show in Berlin later this year.

Earlier today, we came across a leaked sketch of the Nokia 10 showing the device's rear panel with the revolver-like camera setup. Now, the well-known YouTube channel, Concept Creator that shares realistic renders of upcoming smartphones has come up with a concept video of the Nokia 10 with a sleek design and the rumored penta-lens camera setup.

The Nokia 10 concept video below reveals that the device might arrive with a full-screen design wherein the display covers while of the front panel. This is not surprising as it is the current trend in the industry. Apparently, we can expect the Nokia 10 screen to have an aspect ratio of 18:9. The bezel at the top appears to have a dual selfie camera setup tipping that it could come out as a selfie-centric smartphone. Also, there seems to be a 3.5mm audio jack at the top edge of the concept device.

From the video, we can get to know that the front and rear of the Nokia 10 might feature glass panels along with a metallic frame sandwiched between them. There seems to be a fingerprint sensor at the rear positioned below the penta-lens camera module. From the leaked list of flagship smartphones that might be launched with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, it is known that the Nokia 10 might be unveiled with this chipset. Apart from the same, there is no information regarding the specifications and features of the Nokia 10 flagship smartphone.

Talking about the unusual camera setup, the leaked sketch of the Nokia 10 shows that the camera is similar to the recent ZEISS patent for a multi-lens camera on smartphones. It will use an array of lenses of varying focal lengths mounted on a rotating lens. The camera module on the Nokia 10 might look like a dual-lens camera with the central lens working as the primary camera and others being hidden in the module and able to work with the main camera.
