HMD Vibe 2 Pro India Launch Set for September 29: Android 16, MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 64MP Camera Confirmed

HMD Vibe 2 Pro is set to launch in India on September 29, with the company revealing its design, colour options and key specifications ahead of its debut. The upcoming smartphone will feature a 120Hz display, a 64-megapixel Sony camera and a 6,000mAh battery.

It will also run Android 16 and offer Indus AI support for 22 Indian languages. The new handset will expand HMD's Vibe 2 lineup, which debuted in India earlier this year.

The HMD Vibe 2 Pro will launch in India on September 29. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite is already live. It will arrive in three colour options: Aqua Green, Cosmic Purple and Silver Mist.

HMD Vibe 2 Pro Price in India (Expected)

HMD has yet to reveal the official price of the Vibe 2 Pro in India, and no specific pricing leak has surfaced so far. For reference, the standard HMD Vibe 2 5G launched in India at Rs. 10,999 in May 2026.

The Vibe 2 Pro is expected to be positioned above the standard model, although its final pricing and available variants remain unconfirmed. We expect the HMD Vibe 2 Pro price in India to start from under Rs 20,000.

HMD Vibe 2 Pro Specifications and Features

The HMD Vibe 2 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The handset will also support virtual RAM expansion.

For photography, the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will also include a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The HMD Vibe 2 Pro will pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. It will run Android 16 out of the box and include Indus AI, which supports 22 Indian languages.

The smartphone will arrive as the second handset in HMD's Vibe 2 series in India, following the launch of the standard Vibe 2 5G earlier this year.
