Honor 200 Series Set to Launch on July 18 in India; To Go on Sale During Amazon Prime Day

Honor is all set to launch the 200 series comprising the Honor 200 and the 200 Pro on July 18 in India. Following the launch, the smartphones will be available for purchase on Amazon, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live, revealing the design and specifications of the phones. Honor 200 Series: What to Expect?

The camera details of both Honor 200 and 200 Pro models were revealed on the company's official website. Honor has partnered with Studio Harcourt for its AI Portrait engine. For imaging, the Honor 200 Pro will feature a triple camera system including a 50MP H9000 portrait main sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle macro camera.

Upfront, the Pro model will get a 50MP portrait selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording. The phone is also confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch Curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Moreover, the screen will boast a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM Dimming.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and will pack a 5,200 mAh battery with 100W wired and 66W wireless fast charging support. Besides, the Honor 200 Pro will run Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box.

On the other hand, the Honor 200 will come with 50MP dual rear cameras with OIS support. The standard variant will measure just 7.7mm in thickness and will have the same battery capacity with charging support, display, and software as the Honor 200 Pro. However, the standard variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.

Honor 200 Series India Launch and Sale Date

As mentioned above, the launch of the Honor 200 series will take place on July 18 in India, while the phones will go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day, which is scheduled for July 20.
