Honor 9X Global Edition Key Specs Surface Online

Honor 9X, which went official in the company's home market China in July this year is all set to be unveiled in Europe sometime soon. Well, the device comes with the Google certification hinting that it will be preinstalled with Google Mobile Suite of Apps. There will be some differences between the global variant and the Chinese variant of the smartphone.

Well, the Chinese variant of the Honor 9X comes with the latest Kirin 810 SoC. On the other hand, the European variant is said to feature the dated Kirin 710F and make use of a 48MP primary camera sensor at its rear. Apart from this, the device will borrow key hardware aspects from the Honor 9X Pro but shed the Pro moniker. Also, there will be a holographic X pattern at the rear panel, which is called Halo Gradient, claims GizmoChina.

Honor 9X, Honor 9X Pro Details

The Honor 9X and 9X Pro make use of a 6.59-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. When it comes to hardware aspects, the smartphone will use a GPU Turbo 2.0 and liquid cooling tech for optimized gaming performance.

The vanilla variant of the Honor 9X comes in three storage configurations such as 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. On the other hand, the Honor 9X Pro has been launched in a sole variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. Both these devices run Android 9 Pie topped with the company's EMUI 9.1 UI.

On the photography front, the Honor 9X Pro flaunts triple cameras at the rear with 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera sensor, an 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP tertiary depth sensor. On the other hand, the Honor 9X, which is a slightly downgraded variant bestows dual cameras at the rear. The camera module comprises a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary depth sensor along with an LED flash.

The selfie camera on both the Honor smartphones is a 16MP pop-up module, which will leave the screen free from notches and cutouts. The other aspects include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, a USB Type-C port, and a 4000mAh battery.

As of now, there is no word regarding the pricing and release date of the Honor 9X in Europe. We can expect the device to be an affordable one that will give all the latest and necessary features for its buyers. However, we need to wait for the exact launch date to know more details.
