Honor X60 Plus Launched in China: Budget Smartphone With 12GB RAM, 6000mAh Battery, and More

Honor's new budget smartphone, the Honor X60 Plus (also known as Play 60 Plus), has launched in China. This device offers features such as 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, 35W rapid charging, a 6000mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera. It also boasts a premium design and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Honor X60 Plus features a 6.77-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1610 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is LCD, which is typical for budget models, but the high refresh rate is a notable addition. The device runs on Magic OS based on Android 14.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC chipset, ensuring mid-range performance at a budget-friendly price. It also includes virtual 8GB RAM support. Memory variants are available in two options: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.

The phone supports dual nano-SIM slots, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and features a bottom-ported speaker. A USB Type-C port is also included. Despite its large battery capacity of 6000mAh with 35W rapid charging support, the device maintains a slim profile at 8.24mm thick and weighs just 198 grams.

The Honor X60 Plus comes in three colour options: Phantom Night Black, Moon Shadow White, and Wonderland Green. These choices add to its premium look despite being a budget-friendly device.

Pricing and Availability

The pricing for the Honor X60 Plus starts at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 17,205) for the model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The higher-end model with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is priced at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 19,543). The device has been launched in the Chinese market and is expected to arrive in India and other international markets soon.

Honor has previously launched models like the Honor 90 and Honor X9b in India, receiving positive feedback from users. The budget-centric Honor X60 Plus is anticipated to attract significant interest from Indian consumers due to its competitive pricing under Rs 20,000. We hope it launches soon in the country.
