Honor X9b India Launch at 12:30 pm Today: What to Expect? How to Watch the Live Stream?

HTECH is gearing up to unveil a new Honor smartphone in India today, marking the brand's second smartphone launch since its return to India last year. The Honor X9b will be a step down from the Honor 90 5G.

HTECH's CEO Madhav Sheth has been teasing details about the Honor X9b ahead of its launch, revealing the phone's impressive durability. To recall, the Hono X9b has already been unveiled in China and in other markets as the Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G.

Honor X9b India Launch: How to Watch Live?

The Honor X9b launch in India will take place later today at 12 30 pm (IST). The launch event will be streamed live on the Explore Honor YouTube channel in India. However, you can also watch the livestream through the link embedded below.

Apart from the Hono X9b, the brand will also unveil the Honor Choice Watch and Honor Choice Earbuds X5 at the event. We expect, the Honor X9b to arrive in India's sub-25K segment. Since the Honor X9b was already unveiled in China, its specifications are well known.

Honor X9b Launch: What to Expect?

The Honor X9b is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with the Adreno A710 GPU. The handset will come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is also expected to run Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2.

The Honor X9b sports a 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1200 x 2652 pixels). The panel gets a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 429 PPI, and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. It also features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Up front, the Honor X9b also opts for a 16 MP selfie camera.

On the back, Honor's upcoming mid-range smartphone will feature a 108 MP primary camera sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. The phone will pack a 5,300 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. It will also feature dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The Honor X9b will also introduce the Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop Display, offering 360° anti-drop resistance and cutting-edge cushioning technology.
