Honor X9b Launch Date in India Confirmed for February 15: What We Know So Far!

HTECH is set to unveil a new smartphone in India soon. The Honor X9b recently got an official launch date in India. To recall, the Honor X9b was unveiled globally earlier this year as the Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G.

The Honor X9b's durability was recently showcased by Madhav Sheth, CEO, HTECH in a hands-on video. The Honor X9b will debut as the second smartphone from the brand in India, following the Honor 90 5G.

The Honor X9b launch date in India is set for February 15, 2024. The official post claims that the Honor X9b will "drop safely" on February 15, pointing to the phone's durability. The Honor X9b will go on sale through Amazon India after its launch in the country.

HTECH says the arrival of the smartphone will lead to the extinction of tempered glasses in the industry. The teaser also claims that it will be India's first smartphone to feature ultra-bouncing display with 'Airbag' technology.

Honor X9b Specifications (Expected)

The Honor Magic X9b will be powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with the Adreno A710 GPU. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, although there's no SD card slot for expansion. The Honor X9b is expected to run Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2.

Honor's upcoming mid-range smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution (1200 x 2652 pixels). The panel gets a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 429 PPI, and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. It also features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It could pack a 5,300 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.

For optics, the phone is expected to feature a 108 MP primary sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the Honor X9b 5G boasts a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
