Honor X9c is Finally Making Its Way to India; To Go on Sale During Amazon Prime Day

Honor X9c is finally arriving in India. The smartphone was originally launched back in November last year. In February this year, the launch was teased on Amazon, and the brand has now officially confirmed the arrival of the Honor X9c. Additionally, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Amazon, revealing its key features.

Honor X9c India Launch Confirmed

Honor took to its official social media handle to confirm the launch of the Honor X9c in India. While the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon and is set to go on sale during the Prime Day Sale, scheduled from July 12 to 14. This suggests that the launch could take place in the first week of July.

Honor X9c - What to Expect?

The Honor X9c is confirmed to feature HONOR's Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 2.0. It will pack a massive 6,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired SuperCharge. For imaging, the phone will offer a 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, offering up to 3x lossless zoom, along with support for both Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS).

The X9c will also come equipped with a dual stereo speaker setup and several AI-powered editing features. On the software front, it will run on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, while the global variant was launched with MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.

The smartphone will sport a sleek titanium design, measuring just 7.98mm in thickness and weighing 189 grams. On the front, it will have a 1.5K curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate. The Amazon listing doesn't reveal the processor, but we expect the Indian version will also be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Moreover, the Honor X9c 5G was launched for MYR 1,500 (around Rs 29,143). Given that, we expect it could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in the country.
