New HTC Phone With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Spotted on Geekbench; HTC U24 Pro Incoming?

HTC seems to be launching a new phone soon, which is expected to come under the U24 series. The moniker of the handset is yet to be revealed. However, it could debut as the HTC U24 or U24 Pro.

The new HTC phone was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. The same phone has also surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification. Here's what to expect from the upcoming HTC phone.

New HTC Phone Could Debut Soon

The upcoming HTC smartphone was spotted (via MySmartPrice) with the model number 2QDA100. The phone is speculated to debut with the HTC U24 or U24 Pro moniker. It also scored 1,095 points in the single-core round and 3,006 points in the multi-core test.

As per the Geekbench listing, the device might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. On the software front, the phone is tipped to run Android 14 OS.

On the other hand, the Bluetooth SIG certification reveals that the device will support Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. Apart from this nothing is known about the upcoming HTC phone as of now.

To recall, the brand announced the HTC U23 Pro with high-end features like a Full HD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and an OIS-enabled 108MP primary camera. Given that, we expect the upcoming HTC phone could also bring a similar set of specifications to the table.

Even the HTC U23 Pro packs a 4600 mAh battery unit with support for 30W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. There is an IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.

The upcoming HTC phone is also expected to have an official IP rating and wireless charging support. However, it's better to take it as a hint and stay tuned for more updates on the same.
