HTC U11 buyers will get a free car charger

HTC U11 was launched in May in five color variants but the Indian market got only two initially. A few days back, the Solar Red variant of the smartphone was launched in the country and went on pre-order.

The recently launched HTC U11 Solar Red variant is also priced at Rs. 51,990 as the other color variants. In an attempt to lure the buyers looking out for a premium smartphone, HTC is offering a free car charger with every pre-order of the HTC U11 in India. The shipping of the pre-ordered Solar Red variant of the smartphone will debut on August 26 and the smartphone will be bundled with the car charger.

To refresh on its specifications, the HTC U11 adorns a 5.5-inch QHD 1440p Super LCD 5 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under its hood, there lies a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC that is teamed up with Adreno 540 graphics unit and 6GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 128GB storage space that can be expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card with the hybrid dual SIM card slot.

Running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat topped with HTC Sense UI, the HTC U11 comes with the IP67 rating that makes it water and dust resistant. There is a fingerprint sensor and other features such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C 3.1. A 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 powers the smartphone. In terms of imaging, the smartphone arrives with a 12MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera at the front.

The highlight of the HTC U11 is the Edge Sense feature. Edge Sense is a sort of gesture integration in a revolutionary way. This technology is aimed at enhancing the way the users interact with the smartphone. With a simple squeeze on the edge, this technology will let users click photos or launch their favorite apps and more.
