The HTC U11 was launched in India in the month of June this year. The device was put up for sale later that month. And till now consumers had only two colors - Sapphire Blue and Amazing Silver - to choose from. However, that changes now!
HTC has just announced a new color variant of the U11 smartphone. The new color will be Solar Red and the company has already listed the device for pre-orders in its official website. In any case, this color variant will surely look to spice things up and it you are looking for something different then, this model could help you get the extra attention that you need.
The model will be shipped starting August 26 and the Taiwanese company is also even offering a free 20W car charger with the red U11. The handset is priced at Rs. 51,990, ($810).
While the new color looks appealing all other features and specifications of HTC U11 (review) remains the same.
The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. The smartphone is powered by 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is paired with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The phone offers 128GB of internal storage and it can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the HTC U11 packs a 12-Ultrapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The HTC U11 is backed by a 3000mAh nonremovable battery with quick charge support and it runs Android 7.1. The handset also comes with interesting features like Edge Sense, IP67 rating, liquid glass surface design, and Usonic audio technology.
The HTC U hybrid dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors onboard include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. Finally, the handset measures 153.90 x 75.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 169.00 grams.
