HTC U23 Pro with Viverse support launching on May 18: All you need to know
HTC is launching a new smartphone soon. The HTC U23 Pro has been doing the rounds in the rumour mill for the past couple of weeks. However, we now have the first glimpse of the HTC U23 Pro through an official teaser. The HTC U23 Pro launch date is set at May 18.
It is unlikely that the HTC U23 Pro will make its way to the Indian market. But it will be interesting to see where the upcoming HTC U23 Pro sits as leaks place it smack dab into the mid-range. Moreover, the HTC U23 Pro will get Viverse support, which is HTC's Metaverse world.

HTC U23 Pro Specifications (Expected)
While HTC hasn't revealed any specifications for the U23 Pro, several leaks have emerged providing insight into its specs and design. For one, the HTC U23 Pro will use a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with the Adreno graphics. The phone will come up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The HTC U23 Pro is expected to sport an FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to previous leaks, the phone will pack a 4,600 mAh battery with both wired and wireless fast charging support. The phone will also run Android 13 out of the box.
For optics, the HTC U23 Pro will get a quad-camera setup on the back with a 108 MP primary sensor and OIS support. The other three camera sensors will likely consist of an ultrawide lens, a macro unit, and a depth sensor. The handset is also expected to feature a 32 MP selfie camera.
HTC U23 Pro Design (Expected)
Apart from the specifications, live images of the HTC U23 Pro were also leaked online. The leaked images reveal that the device's back cover and middle frame are made of plastic. The power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
The device features a USB Type-C port at the bottom, which is flanked by a SIM card slot on one side and a speaker grill on the other. It is also rumored to include a 3.5mm audio jack positioned on the top. The HTC U23 Pro is also seen in a black shade.
