Huawei Honor Series to Get Android 5.0 Lollipop Update from September

Atlast, the Chinese handset maker Huawei has finally announced its roll out of Android Lollipop 5.0 for its Honor series of smartphone in the Indian market from September.

The devices include Huawei Honor 4C, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus will get in September, meanwhile the Honor 4X will get update somewhere around October.

Users will get notifications once the update has reached the device. Other wise you can manually check the device by going to Setting → About phone → Software update.

This update comes with a new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system.

It allows the users to see the notification on the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.

This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
