Huawei Nova 6 5G Official Promo Video Confirms Quad-Rear Cameras, Dual Punch-Hole Display


Huawei Nova 6 5G has been confirmed to arrive on December 5. The handset is going to debut in China and is expected to be launched with 4G connectivity as well. There have been numerous leaks surrounding the upcoming flagship smartphone. Now, the company itself has released a promo video of the Nova 6 5G, leaving little to the imagination.

Huawei has shared the official promo video of the Nova 6 on Weibo. And the first thing that comes into notice is the gradient rear panel with a quad-camera setup aligned vertically on the top-left corner.

The LED flash sits right next to the camera sensors. The setup appears quite similar to the P30 Pro. Upfront, the handset is seen flaunting a dual punch-hole for the selfie camera. The bezels appear thin on all sides including the chin.

At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port placed alongside the speaker grille. The promotional video doesn't reveal any specific hardware details. But, the previous leaks have revealed the key specifications.

The Huawei Nova 6 is speculated to offer a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. While some reports have suggested a 90Hz display, a recent report indicated a 60Hz panel. However, it will be confirmed once the company officially announces the device.

The quad-camera module at the rear is likely to house a 60MP primary sensor. Aiding the primary sensor is said to be a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The dual punch-hole selfie camera is said to pack a 32MP primary and a 12MP secondary sensor. One of which will be equipped with a Super Night Scene 2.0 mode, while the other is said to capture 105-degree wide-angle selfies.


The Huawei Nova 6 5G is said to be powered by a Kirin 990 5G chipset and ship with Android 10 OS topped with a custom user interface. Rounding off the spec-sheet is said to be a 4,000 mAh battery. The handset recently got certified by 3C in China which revealed a 40W fast charging.
