Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G Complete Specifications Leak Ahead of Launch

Huawei Nova 6 series is set to launch today in China where the company is expected to launch three different models. The Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G, and the Nova 6 SE are the upcoming premium smartphones. The internet has already given us a sneak peek into the specification of all the three variants. Now, a new leak reveals the complete specification of the Nova 6 just ahead of today's launch.

Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G Leaked Specs

The detailed specifications of the Huawei Nova 6 and the Nova 6 5G have been shared via two different posts on Weibo. The standard Nova 6 (4G variant) is said to come with a 6.7-inch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The handset has already been confirmed to offer a dual punch-hole display.

In terms of optics, the triple-lens camera module at the rear is leaked with a 40MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The dual punch-hole upfront will be equipped with a 32MP fixed focus sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The device will be powered by Huawei's latest octa-core HiSlicon Kirin 990 SoC. It is listed in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. There is no mention of expandable memory support.a

In the software department, the handset will boot on the Android 10 OS-based EMUI 10 user interface. Backing up the unit is a 4,100 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

As for the Huawei Nova 6 5G, the specifications are similar to the 4G variant. However, the Kirin 990 chipset on the 5G variant will be paired with Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity. The other difference which it comes with compared to the standard variant is 256GB storage and a slightly bigger 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging.
