Huawei P20 with triple rear cameras to launch at MWC 2018
Huawei will launch its flagship phones from the P series on 26 February at the MWC (Mobile World Congress).
According to a recent report the next generation of Huawei's P series of smartphones will be called P20. Now, another report by the publication ChinaZ suggests, Huawei will launch its flagship phones from the P series on 26 February at the MWC (Mobile World Congress).

Looking at Huawei's past launch patterns, the company has always showcased the new phones from the P series at the MWC. So the information from ChinaZ is most likely to come true. The publication further claims, the new flagship will have at least four variants: P20, P20 Plus, P20 Pro and P20 Lite. Earlier this week, we came across a leak that revealed the alleged design of the upcoming Huawei P20 smartphones.
However, the previous leak didn't mention anything about the Huawei P20 Lite. In any case, the other three smartphones are expected to come with triple rear cameras (though arranged differently) and full-screen design with minimal bezels.
The Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will sport kind of similar designs at the front. Both the handsets will have a front-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical home button.
The Huawei P20 Pro, on the other hand, is shown to feature a higher screen-to-body ratio with a bezel-less display. It should be noted that the handset has an iPhone X-like notch at the top which houses the selfie camera and the earpiece. Unlike the P20 and P20 Plus, the P20 Pro will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Huawei P20 will come equipped with the in-house Kirin 970 processor. It is the same chipset that powers the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. The smartphone should carry at least 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. That being said, we won't be surprised to the smartphone getting launched with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
The Huawei P20 is said to feature a large 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. On the software front, the smartphone will probably run on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. If rumors are to be believed, the Huawei P20 will carry a price tag of around 4,000 Yuan (approximately Rs. 39,000) in China.
