IFA 2015: Here Is What We Expect From Samsung, Sony, Microsoft And Huawei

    The next big event in the tech world is the IFA 2015, which takes place in Berlin from September 4 to 9. IFA is the only place where we can see the next year's smartphones, tablet, smartwatch, laptop and much more. In other words, IFA is one of the largest electronics trade show, where the world's leading tech giants reveal their newest and future products for the first time.

    However, just few weeks left to kick start the IFA and we expect to see world's biggest tech companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, LG and many others showing off there latest gadgets. Here is a list of latest rumors that we came across and what we can expect to see IFA 2015. Take a look at the slider below...


    The South Korean giant schedules a high-profile press conference on September 3rd during the IFA 2015, in Berlin. Every Year, Samsung announces its next-generation Note devices during the IFA press event in Berlin. But this year it took an interesting turn, as the Galaxy Note 5 has already been announced in ahead of IFA 2015.

    Samsung teased the mysterious round smartwatch at the end of its Unpacked event, which took place last week. Well, we expect that Samsung might unveil its first rounded smartwatch dubbed Orbis, that have been rumored for quite a long time now.



    LG is reportedly working on one of the two upcoming Nexus smartphones, but Nexus smartphone are usually unveiled at a Google event alongside the launch of Android Marshmallow.

    However, rumors suggests that LG is working on a "super premium smartphone", which is scheduled to be announced sometime by the end of 2015. Meanwhile, we expect that the IFA 2015 will expect a curved screen smartphone to rival the Galaxy S6 Edge. It is also expected that LG might showcase a new wearable gadget at IFA 2015.



    Every year, we see something interesting from Sony at IFA and we expect the same for this year event too. We have seen quite rumors about the company's upcoming flagship Xperia Z5. It is also reported that Sony is not just planning to launch only the Xperia Z5, but also working on variants including the Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Ultra. These phones will mainly vary on the basis of display size and screen resolution. We expect that the company will showcase its upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 with all new design.


    It seems that HTC is having some hard time at the moment. A day back we came across with the details of the upcoming HTC flagship smartphone dubbed as HTC O2. We expect to see the smartphone at the IFA 2015.


    Last month, Lenovo owned Motorola revamped its Moto lineup with the launch of flagship Moto X Style, Moto X Play and popular mid-ranger Moto G. Well, we might not see any smartphone from the company at the IFA, but we expect to see some wearable gadgets at the event.

    The Moto 360 was the last wearable launched by the Motorola and we expect its a perfect time for the company to showcase the next-generation Moto 360 or something better.



    Microsoft recently warps off to its latest Windows platform for the desktop. But the Windows 10 for Mobile is still to come. We expect the Redmond-based company to announce couple of Lumia smartphones running Windows 10.

    Rumors suggests that, Microsoft is planning a grand event in October, where it is expected to announce the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL along with a new Surface Pro 4 tablet and a Band 2 wearable and a Xbox One Mini gaming console.



    Asus is scheduled a press event for September 2 at Berlin. The press invite hints at few products that are likely to be showcased at the IFA 2015. Asus recently announced its Zenfone flagship smartphone along with couple of variants. We expect that Asus will come up with a smartphone, the ZenWatch.


    The China-based smartphone maker, Huawei is one of the regular IFA participants so far. This year the company is expect to showcase a couple of smartphones under its Mate S lineup including the Mate 7S and the Mate 8S. Huawei is also scheduled its event on September 2 at IFA, Berlin.


    According to the recent leaks, Lenovo is working on a new smartphone called Vibe S1, which sports a dual front-facing camera. Apart from the rumored Vibe S1, we expect that the company will showcase couple of smartphone including Lenovo Vibe P1, Vibe P1 Pro and Vibe X3 at the IFA 2015.


    Acer is also one among the few tech giants, who usually showcases a handful of products announcements at IFA. The rumor mill pointed that Acer will announce no less than four smartphones running the Windows 10 for Mobiles. However, Microsoft sets to announce smartphones sometime in October, we don't have any leaks about the information.
