The Infinix Note 50 series appears to be on the horizon, with its first details emerging through an FCC certification listing. As reported by 91Mobiles Indonesia, the certification has confirmed the design and several specifications of the upcoming smartphone lineup.

Redesigned Aesthetics: Octagonal Camera Module

The FCC listing revealed that the Infinix Note 50 (model number X6858) adopts a new design language. It retains the flat edges seen in the Note 40 series but introduces a more unique, octagonal camera module, replacing the square setup of its predecessor. The module accommodates four cameras and an LED flash, with the Infinix logo subtly placed on the bottom-left corner of the back panel.

The phone was spotted in two color variants, green and pink, hinting at vibrant options for consumers. According to the certification, the device measures 163.2mm x 74.4mm x 9mm, suggesting a sleek and compact build.

Connectivity and Charging Capabilities

The FCC listing confirms that the Infinix Note 50 supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE connectivity, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). However, there is no mention of 5G connectivity for the base model. Reports indicate that a Note 50 Pro+ 5G variant could be in the works, offering a higher-tier option for users seeking faster connectivity.

The phone is also expected to feature 45W wired fast charging, a feature carried over from the Note 40 series. This ensures quick charging for users who are always on the move.

The Note 50 Lineup

According to a report from GizmoChina, the Infinix Note 50 series will include four models:

  • Infinix Note 50
  • Infinix Note 50X
  • Infinix Note 50 Pro
  • Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G

The devices, bearing model numbers X6858, X6857, X6855, and X6856 respectively, are expected to cater to a variety of user preferences. While details on these models are still sparse, the lineup could offer varying configurations of camera setups, connectivity options, and performance capabilities.

Building on the Success of the Note 40

The Infinix Note 40 series, launched globally in March 2023, featured a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a 108MP primary camera, and a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display. The Note 50 series is likely to build on this foundation, offering updated specifications and a refined design.

Indian Launch Likely

Infinix has a history of bringing its Note series to India, and it's reasonable to expect the Note 50 series to make its debut in the country. Additionally, the Note 50 Pro+ 5G variant could target markets where 5G adoption is growing rapidly.

What's Next?

With the FCC listing now public, more leaks and official announcements about the Infinix Note 50 series are expected soon.
