Domestic handset maker, Intex has launched a new budget smartphone under its very own Aqua series. Dubbed as Aqua Slice II, this device has been listed on the company's website at a price of Rs. 5,999.

Further, the company has collaborated with the Redmond gaint Microsoft to provide 50GB of cloud storage space for two years via OneDrive in its smartphones sold in India.

Moving on to the specifications of the device, this Aqua Slice II sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clubbed with 1GB RAM under the hood.

Also, this device comes with 8GB of in-built storage option, with expansion up to 32GB via microSD card slot. This device features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and some more features like scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, Best shot, Smile shot, 2MP front snapper.

On the connectivity, Aqua Slice II supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth options. It is juiced by a 2000mAh battery, which offers up to 7 hours of talk time, and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua Slice II comes in Black, Blue, White and will be available at a price of Rs. 5,999 in few days.
