IPhone 15 Pro Max to Have Thinnest Smartphone Bezel: New Leak

A new leak about the iPhone 15 Pro Max claims it will have the thinnest bezels seen on any smartphone to date.

Popular tipster IceUniverse leaked this information on Twitter. He posted that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a bezel width of only 1.55mm. He further added that with this bezel width, the iPhone 15 Pro would break the current record of 1.81mm bezel back edge held by Xiaomi 13.

For comparison, the tipster added the bezel widths of the Samsung S22 and Samsung S23 and the iPhone 14 Pro, which is 1.95mm and 2.17mm respectively.

Thinner bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro Max would mean more screen real estate and a better screen-to-body ratio. However, do note that the iPhone 15 Pro Max would be the only variant with the mentioned bezel width, and the other variants will likely have thicker bezels.

iPhone 15 Series Leaked Specifications and Features

The new iPhone 15 series is expected to launch in the latter half of the year. As expected, multiple leaks and rumors have already started doing the rounds.

Previous leaks revealed that the iPhone 15 series would see some serious hardware upgrades that may result in a higher price tag.

The most talked about hardware upgrade on the upcoming iPhone 15 series is the switch to a Type-C port from its proprietary Lightening port. Apple reportedly was forced into switching to a Type-C port because of the new EU legislation that mandates all smartphones to have a Type-C charging port.

Earlier design render leaks have also revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a curvier design with rounded edges.

Another significant hardware update on the iPhone 15 series, rumored for a while now, is the switch from physical volume buttons to a new capacitive volume rockers. The iPhone 15 series is also rumored to have a bigger camera bump thanks to larger camera sensors.

The upcoming iPhone 15 series is said to comprise the vanilla iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone Max and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The "Pro" variants are said to be the top-end variants demanding a higher price than the other two standard variants.
