iPhone 16 Series Expected to Be Available for Purchase From This Date

Apple is all set to unveil the next-gen iPhones at the "It's Glowtime" event on September 9 in Apple Park at 10 am Pacific Time (10:30 pm IST). The next-gen iPhone 16 series is most likely to include four models - the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Rumours and reports have already given us enough idea of what to expect from the upcoming iPhones. Now, the expected availability details have been surfaced online.

iPhone 16 Series Sale Date (Expected)

According to a report by MacRumors, all four models of the iPhone 16 series will be available for purchase starting September 20 on Apple stores. In addition to the iPhones, Apple is also expected to unveil a couple of accessories including watches and AirPods.

However, there is no information regarding the availability of these devices. We expect all the sale details will be disclosed at the time of launch. So it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement.

iPhone 16 Series: What We Know So Far

The iPhone 16 is expected to be the smallest of the series, featuring a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen. The iPhone 16 Plus and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are likely to feature 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively.

Both the non-pro models are rumoured to ship with the A18 chip, while the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max models are likely to get the A18 Pro SoC. In terms of camera, the iPhone 16 and the 16 Plus are expected to share similar camera features as their predecessors, while the Pro models could opt for an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Moreover, the four models of the iPhone 16 series are expected to support Apple Intelligence, while it is only available on the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. As far as the price is concerned, the iPhone 16 could start at around Rs $799, while the iPhone 16 Plus is expected to come with a starting price of $899.

On the other hand, both the iPhone 16 Pro and the Pro Max could carry a starting price of $1,099 and $1,199, respectively.
