iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike Reportedly Coming in September: Here’s How Much It Could Cost
Apple is reportedly preparing to increase the prices of its upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The price hike could arrive as the company prepares to launch its next-generation iPhones alongside its first book-style foldable, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra.
The reported price increase comes after Apple recently raised prices across several product categories, including MacBook and iPad models. The iPhone 17 series was spared from those increases, but the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup could be affected.

iPhone 18 Pro Price Could Increase by $100
In the latest edition of his weekly newsletter, Power On, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple is considering a price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The two models are expected to start at $1,199 (around Rs. 1,15,000) in the US. This would represent a $100 increase over the iPhone 17 Pro and roughly a 9 percent price increase.
Rising Memory Costs Could Drive iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike
The reported price increase comes amid higher costs for DRAM and NAND storage components. According to the report, a $100 increase would still be relatively modest compared with the rise in memory and storage prices.
The higher starting price could also allow Apple to remain competitive with Samsung's Ultra-series flagship and Google's Pro models, which have reportedly also become more expensive.
iPhone 18 Pro India Price Could Also Increase
The reported price increase may not be limited to the US market. A recent report suggested that the iPhone 18 Pro could launch in India with a price increase of around Rs. 10,000 compared with its predecessor.
Other upcoming models could also become more expensive. Reports suggest that the iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 17e may receive price increases, although Apple has not confirmed any of these details.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro lineup in September. The series could be joined by the company's first book-style foldable iPhone, along with new Apple Watch and AirPods models.
However, the reported pricing should be treated as unconfirmed until Apple makes an official announcement. Apple is reportedly assessing recent price increases from Samsung and Google, along with the rising costs of memory and storage components.
